Alpha Medical was established 1997 and it is now a well-known and highly respected organization. Our management team consists of experienced healthcare professionals and other specialists. We have two main divisions:-
Alpha Paramedic & Ambulance Service
We guarantee to provide an extremely professional, 100% reliable and cost-effective service that will meet the specific needs of every client and every person in our care. We are registered as an Independent Ambulance Provider with the Care Quality Commission and, over the years, we have conveyed thousands of NHS and private patients using ROAD and AIR ambulances.
Our current clients include NHS hospitals, NHS Primary Care Trusts and private hospitals because, when a patient needs to be professionally conveyed from one location to another, we can supply specialist vehicles manned by experienced healthcare professionals. This means that NHS staff (and other clients) are able to request crew qualifications that are required for each patient assignment. For instance, our clients are able to request Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, Nurses, ODPs and/or personnel with other/additional qualifications.

In addition to our patient transportation service we also provide professional medical cover for numerous sports and other events – using our own fleet of specialist vehicles including Frontline Ambulances, 4×4 vehicles, Rapid Response Units and Mobile Medical Units.
No assignment is unimportant to us. We are more than happy to move a patient a few yards (e.g. within his or her own home) or convey people around the World. In fact, in addition to our UK offices we also have an office in Paris, France. We can either use a road ambulance to travel long distances, around the UK or to/from Europe, or an air ambulance if required.

Alpha Training & Consultancy
You may be surprised to learn that we offer nearly 100 different training courses and workshops for the general public, healthcare professionals and businesses.
Our high-quality courses include statutory and other courses that are approved by the Health & Safety Executive, Edexcel, British Heart Foundation and Intavent Orthofix etc. If you do not want to use our dedicated training centre we can deliver some courses ‘on-site’ – i.e. in your premises or in another venue that is suitable for the course and convenient for your staff.
All of our training courses are ‘student-centred’ and, as such, we tailor each course to meet the individual requirements of each course participant. All course participants and learning groups benefit from the fact that our instructors don’t just talk about subjects – they actually do the job. For instance, all of our medical courses are taught by healthcare professionals!

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Health Screening Service
We offer a comprehensive Health Screening Service for businesses and the general public. For instance, we are used by companies to take blood and urine samples.– e.g. to test their employees for alcohol, drugs or other potential health problems. Our personnel are also able to carry out various physiological measurements and provide useful reports.
Professional Medical Courier Service
We offer a special medical courier service for NHS establishments and other clients. For instance, we can provide a professional transport service for the safe and confidential transportation of medical records, blood, human organs and tissue, pathology samples, sterile equipment, supplies – and other items that need to be securely and promptly transported from one place to another. All of our drivers are CRB checked and have advanced driving skills.

Staff Transport Service
Alpha Medical can also provide safe transportation for healthcare professionals, and other personnel, from one location to another.
