Our comprehensive 24-hour Air Ambulance Service is regularly used by repatriation companies, the National Health Service, businesses and other private clients to convey patients around the UK and overseas.
We are able to undertake any U.K. or long distance aeromedical assignment using a scheduled flight or a chartered aircraft.
If you need a chartered air ambulance Alpha Medical works exclusively with AirMed (the largest, UK based, fixed-wing air ambulance operator in the UK) and the relationship is able to provide the best possible solution – whatever your requirements.
Our world-wide service offers a highly professional solution for any journey that requires medical supervision and/or expert medical assistance. Over the years, Alpha Medical has been used to successfully convey numerous patients, all over the World, with a wide range of medical injuries and conditions – including patients with serious burns and/or other major injuries, serious medical conditions and mental health problems.
Our experienced (CCAT* trained) personnel are able to look after a wide variety of patients – i.e. conscious or unconscious, breathing or ventilated, most injuries or conditions. Unfortunately, generally speaking, we are not able to convey infectious patients.
Every air ambulance assignment is different and most include one or more road ambulances to convey the patient, and their relatives and/or a medical team, to ensure a seamless journey from one location to another.
In addition to providing an all-inclusive air ambulance service it should be noted that we also provide experienced aeromedical escorts – i.e. to provide professional medical cover for any person, using any scheduled flight, anywhere in the World. For instance, if a client wants to travel from their home in the UK to any location abroad, one or more of our aeromedical escorts will accompany the client for the entire journey.
