21.09.2011 Alpha Training & Consultancy has been awarded Edexcel accreditation!
‘Alpha Medical’ is a highly respected training provider. We were established in 1979 and, over the years, we have delivered hundreds of courses to thousands of people.
We are delighted to announce that, after a recent Standards Verification inspection, our training centre is now Edexcel accredited.
Our Edexcel accreditation means that Alpha is able to deliver high quality Edexcel IHCD BTEC Award (Basic and Intermediate) First Person on Scene courses. Managing Director, Steve Richards, said “This new Edexcel accreditation means that Alpha is now able to deliver more than a hundred different courses to healthcare professionals, businesses and the general public”.
07.10.2011 Alpha Paramedic & Ambulance Service receives its Care Quality Commission accreditation!
Following a recent visit by a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration officer, Norvic has now received its CQC Certificate of Registration.
Our Provider ID is 1-153024920.
Following a meticulous inspection, by a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration assessor, Alpha Paramedic & Ambulance Service has recently received its CQC Certificate of Registration under the Health and Social Care Act 2008. Our Service Provider ID number is 1-153024425 and our Certificate Number is 1-343453246.
APAS achieved all sixteen of the CQC’s ‘key outcomes’ with regard to the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and is now CQC registered for three different ‘Regulated Activities‘ – i.e.
1. Transport Services, triage and medical advice provided remotely
2. Treatment of disease, disorder or injury
3. Diagnostic and screening procedures
Steve Richards, Managing Director, welcomed the CQC inspection saying…
“Private Ambulance Services have waited far too long in the UK to be officially registered so I’m pleased that the Care Quality Commission have recently checked every aspect of our business and given us a certificate of registration.
