Basic Life Support courses have been designed to meet all the required learning outcomes and is aligned to the Skills for Health UK Core Skills Training Framework or UK-CSTF.
This includes both level 2 adult and paediatric patient care. The course is also Skills for Care Endorsed and follows the requirements set out in the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines for adult and Paediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) basic life support (BLS).
Please note that this course is an ONLINE only course that can be done whenever it suits you. If you would like to attend some practical training sessions please contact us directly because we also offer some BLENDED training courses – i.e. on-line theory sessions followed by practical sessions that are held in our training centre.
The UK Resuscitation Council 2015 guidelines state, “Short video/computer self-instruction courses, with minimal or no instructor coaching, combined with hands-on practice can be considered as an effective alternative to instructor-led BLS and AED courses.”
This course complies with the latest 2015 ERC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines and is aimed at Healthcare Professionals with a duty to respond.
Please note that all of our first-aid and pre-hospital care courses comply fully with the Resuscitation Council UK and European Resuscitation Council guidelines as per Health & Safety Executive requirements. In addition, to ensure that all course participants benefit from very high quality training, all courses are based on the latest JRCALC Clinical Guidelines.
